Students attending TWS in 2006 would like to share their artwork and craftwork. Here are some photographs of students and their watercolor paintings, drawings and craftwork by children from the nursery, the three kindergarten classes, classes one, two, and three, and graduates, accompanied by a short biography of each student featured

Anisha

Anisha joined Tashi Waldorf School in May 2006. Anisha was born in June, 2003. She has two elder brothers and lives near TWS. Anisha enjoys dressing up and playing with dolls. She likes to pretend to wash the dolls' hair and clothing. Anisha often plays alone, but sometimes she plays with her friend Kumari Suniwar. She loves to draw and paint, and concentrates well when doing artwork. Anisha also loves to pretend to cook, and often sings to herself.

Bijay

Bijay joined Tashi Waldorf School in May 2006. Bijay was born in August, 2003. He has a baby brother, Ajay, and lives fairly near to TWS. Bijay enjoys dressing up and building structures with wooden blocks. He loves to arrange the blocks into shapes. He loves playing with dolls as well, dressing and pretend washing them. Bijay enjoys roleplaying that he is a father to a baby doll. Bijay's best friend is Lobsang Tamang, who lives nearby to him. They call each other “brother”, even though they are not related.

Raju

Raju joined Tashi Waldorf School in May 2006. Raju was born in January 2001. He has one older brother and lives in Eastern Kathmandu . Raju likes to sing and dance. He loves to move about the classroom, touching many things and flitting about like a butterfly. Raju participates actively during storytime, helping his teacher Kamala tell the story. Raju quite enjoys making artwork, especially painting.

Manju

Manju joined Tashi Waldorf School in May 2006. She was born in February, 2001. Manju has two sisters and lives near TWS. Manju's elder sister, Malina, attends Class 2, and her younger sister, Sanju, attends Durga's kindergarten at TWS. Manju likes reading picture books and spends a long time observing the details of the pictures. She also enjoys dressing up and playing with dolls. Manju loves to pretend to cook food and serve it to her classmates. She loves drawing and painting as well. When Manju is in the playground she likes to play on the slide and on the swings. She often pushes Sanju on the swings.

Binita joined Tashi Waldorf School in November, 2005. She was born in May, 2002. Binita has one elder sister and one elder brother, and lives in Northern Kathmandu . Binita is very agile and strong. She loves to climb and jump and is absolutely fearless about this. Binita loves to sing and dance and can already do Nepali dances which are quite sophisticated with subtle movement. Binita enjoys making artwork and is very creative while making crafts.

Pawan

Pawan joined Tashi Waldorf School in November, 2005. Pawan was born in September, 2000. Pawan lives near TWS and has one younger sister, Pratiksha, who also attends Chandra's kindergarten. Pawan loves to help his sister and the other children in the kindergarten. Pawan helps his teacher Chandra with sweeping the classroom and putting the shoes on the younger children. In his play, Pawan loves to pretend to drive cars, and frequently plays with wooden cars and trains. When he is in the playground he loves to play on the slide. He includes his sister in his play and they like to eat their meals sitting side by side.
