Parental Involvement
Tashi Waldorf School operates in partnership with its pupils’ parents in order to support and encourage responsible parenting. Parental participation is essential to a child’s education. The school works with its parents to explore and discover what is best for their children.

Regular parent meetings are held in which families can learn about their child’s progress, as well as voice any concerns they may have. Since this curriculum is very unique in Nepal, these meetings are essential for explaining the principles of Waldorf education.

To avoid generating a culture of dependency, all of the school’s families contribute to their child’s tuition according to their means. A school that improves the relationship between child and parents helps to give a fair start in life to each child.

Children’s Progress
Medical, dental and eye clinics for the children are arranged through the generosity of various innovative clinics in Kathmandu. One of the greatest joys is watching the children’s physical progress as a direct result of the care they receive at the school.

Witnessing the children’s emotional progress is equally rewarding. The daily experience of the children’s lives can leave them unsure of the world around them. Within several months at Tashi Waldorf School, their progress is astounding: the children begin to open to the world from the experience of Waldorf education.
